Turkey Tips - Blinds vs Camo

Blinds are best for hunters seeking total concealment.  Within the confines of a blind, a hunter can draw his bow totally undetected.  Also, there are several blinds on the market that can be erected in mere minutes that totally conceal a hunter.

There are several pole blinds on the market that can be erected in seconds, but only partially conceal a hunter.  These lightweight blinds are very hand, and I tot one often.  They are economical and help conceal ground movement when you are trying to adjust positions.

No bowhunter in particular and no turkey hunter in general takes to the woods without being completely camouflaged to help blend in to his or her surroundings.  There are many photo-realistic camouflage patterns on the market that are very effective.  Natural camouflage, such as dead fallen timber, stumps and bushes, are great places to hide behind too.
