Tim Dech ~ Feather Painter

Timothy E. Dech  retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service to our country. He is 30 years married to a wonderful women whom he met on the Island of Crete, in Greese in 1972.  He has been painting since the 5th grade, and after retiring 5 months ago, he has been painting on just about everything.  Feather painting idea came from his brother who lives in Florida, so these painting are not the mass produced "limited edition" feathers you have seen during past Super Fund banquets - they are one of a kind beauties. 

Tim told us of a great offer we would like to pass on to you - If you send him a complete turkey tail, he will paint you a feather, in any position.  That means you help him out by keeping his feathers in stock, and you get an original feather painting.  You can send him the tails any way you can, taken apart or together. He cleans the feathers before painting on them. 

    He is looking for the 6 different types of tails Rio Grande, Eastern, Merrian's, Gould's, Osceola and the Ocellated. He has never seen the osceola and the ocellated, you Florida hunters and exotic hunters get busy!
